National Chassis offers a full line of specialized intermodal chassis, or ‘specials’, designed to meet the requirements that a typical standardized or ‘standard’ stock chassis can’t offer. These intermodal chassis specials offer significant customized specification and are purpose built to your job application or load. National Chassis’ special purpose chassis can oftentimes carry additional weigh loads while still maintaining lower GVWRs (gross vehicle weight ratings).
