Designed for National Chassis for the Houston, Texas Heavy Haul Corridor by Cheetah Chassis, and the first heavy haul tri-axle of its kind in this market, this highly specialized sliding bogey tri-axle hauls up to 93,000 lbs. and has a tare weight of only 8,300 lbs.

Roll stability and 60 inch axle spacing are also standard on this model.

Texas S.B. 1524 – Texas Heavy Haul Corridor – Quick Facts

• Took effect January 1, 2018
• Port of entry and surrounding 30 miles
• Sealed international transport only
• Extra axles with specified spacing required
• $6,000 annual permit required

TWO NEW WEIGHT CATEGORIES:

93,000 LBS – TRUCK, TRAILER, PAYLOAD COMBINED
• Allows an additional 9,000lbs over existing requirements
• Six axles required, Roll Stability Support System and Truck Blind Spot System required

TRUCK REQUIREMENTS:
Distance from truck front axle and rear axle of the trailer must be appximately 647 inches, or almost 54 feet.
One single axle can’t exceed 13,000 lbs.
One two-axle group can’t exceed 37,000 lbs. (and no single axle in this group 18,500 lbs).
Distance between individual axles on the two-axle group is not less than 51 or more than 52 inches.

TRAILER REQUIREMENTS:
One three-axle group does not exceed 49,195 lbs. (and no single axle exceeds 16,400 lbs.).
Distance between individual axles in the three-axle group is 60 inches.

Heavy Haul Texas

100,000 LBS – TRUCK, TRAILER, PAYLOAD COMBINED

• Allows an additional 16,000lbs over existing requirements
• Seven axles required, Roll Stability Support System and Truck Blind Spot System required

TRUCK REQUIREMENTS:
The distance from the front axle of the truck and the rear axle of the trailer must be approximately 612 inches, or 51 feet.
One single axle does not exceed 15,000 lbs.
One three-axle group does not exceed 44,500 lbs. (and no single axle in the group 14,900 lbs).
Distance between the individual axles in the three-axle group is not less than 51 inches or more than 52 inches.

TRAILER REQUIREMENTS:
One three-axle group does not exceed 46,200 lbs. (and no single axle in that grouping exceeds 15,400 lbs.)
Distance between individual axles in the three-axle group is 60 inches.
